Galerie 94 GmbH
As an internationally renowned art gallery, Galerie 94 focuses on contemporary as well as classical photography, and is dedicated to exhibiting both Swiss, and international artists.
Galerie 94 is located in the heart of Baden of the former Merker freight forwarding building.
Sascha Laue, Galerie 94’s founder, successfully curated and managed his former gallery–Photogalerie 94 in Ennetbaden–from 1994 until 2004. After a creative break of approximately 10 years, Laue returned to the art world in 2015 with Galerie 94. Since opening its spaces, Galerie 94 has housed around 40 exhibitions.
Galerie 94 continues to be the only exhibition space that focuses on photography in the canton of Aargau. Furthermore, we are a proud member of ‘Spectrum – Photography in Switzerland’.
Galerie 94 belongs to the near.family, the swiss association for contemporary photography.

Directions arriving by train
Upon arrival at the train station in Baden, take the undercrossing toward Langhaus. Make sure to use the stairs to your left (opposite the escalator), before taking a righthand turn and walking straight ahead through the passageway. Once you reach the street, continue straight ahead. Cross the Hauptstrasse-street after the restaurant ‘Gottardo’. Enter the Merker-areal through the yellow gateway. You will find us to your left in the dark grey brick building.
Directions arriving by car
Via Zurich, Exit ‘Neuenhof’:
Once you have passed the ‘Baden’ town sign, drive straight ahead at the crossroads towards the tunnel. Then, keep right and make a right turn at the red light towards ‘Gartenstrasse’. Keep left and make a left turn onto ‘Gartenstrasse’. After the ‘Gartenstrasse’ parking garage you will find us after 150m inside the Merker-areal. We are located inside the dark grey brick building.
Via highway exit ‘Baden-Dättwil’:
Keep left at the crossroads next to the high-rise hotel building ‘Linde’ and drive in the direction of the tunnel. Keep right after the tunnel. At the red light turn towards ‘Gartenstrasse’. Keep left and make a left turn onto ‘Gartenstrasse’. After the ‘Gartenstrasse’ parking garage you will find us after 150m inside the Merker-areal. We are located inside the dark grey brick building.
